Watching this site grow is a wonderful testimony to the many who knew my father. Some of you have asked me about previous postings. Since the first site was structured a little differently, where new banners were posted directly off the homepage, I've decided to include them with this project. I've kept almost every posting since the site was launched. So instead of removing information and replacing it with new content, I've chosen to archive it here. .

Dying is a gradual diminishing and final vanishing over the horizon of life. When we watch a sailboat leaving port and moving toward the horizon, it becomes smaller and smaller until we can no longer see it. But we must trust that someone is standing on a faraway shore seeing that same sailboat become larger and larger until it reaches its new harbor. - H. Nouwen
